The AppGun Gaming to your iPhone

It never ceases to amaze me the number of different gadgets and gizmos available for the iPhone, this latest one is the AppGun, touted as an interactive gaming system for your iPhone. To use, your phone is locked into the gun and serves as the view finder, triggers on the gun automagically make your phone shoot. The first game available will use augmented reality, so by using the iPhones camera your souroundings will become the background of the game onto which aliens to shoot will be superimposed.

Soulra Solar-powered Sound System for the iPhone/iPod

We have reported on the Soulra from Eton Corp before, and I got a chance to try it out for myself over the weekend.I decided to test it out on my iPhone with a dead battery. The moment the Soulra’s flip-out panel was in the sun, the iPhone began to charge. It took a lot more juice before I could get it playing stereo sound, but it did play, and it played it loud. What you might not be able to see in this image is that the Soulra comes with a plastic cover to make certain the iDevice is safe. This is good for protecting against splashes, and it is IPX-4 Splash proof from all angles.

Mophie

Mophie is working on another device that can improve the iPad’s performance, especially in the area of gaming. The Pulse is designed to house the iPhone, and it provides haptic feedback allowing the user to “feel the difference between hundreds of sensations”. There are also stereo speakers that boost and enhance sound.
I got a chance to try out the Pulse a while ago, and I believe that it was either in CES last January. I tried it out with Angry Birds, and it made destroying green pigs a more explosive experience. Considering that the mobile gaming platform is booming, it is nice to see something that makes the iPhone boom with it.
I was told that it was “coming soon”, and sadly, I am still hearing that. I think that one of the things that the Pulse could do is create some game controllers on the housing. Then the iPhone could be turned into a GameBoy, or a Super Game Boy that is better than the Super Game Boy.

Meridian Sooloos Control 15

Meridian's new sooloos mignt be cut-price (relatively) but there's nothing bargain basement about it. instead of selling a kidney in order to afford one (the original Sooloos cost over Rs 7 lakh) now you can get away with auctioning a finger or two in order to secure its touchscreen wi-fi hi-fi skills. with  500 GB of storage. and playback and control now in one 17in unit. all you need to do is add some speakers and get ripping. in lossless FLAC, naturally.

Fila's Trio-logy

FILA HEXON
Running is good for your health. Atleast  most shoe companies want your to believe so. And we won't complain as long as they keep the designs interesting and our soles in the comfort zone. take the new 'hexon' for example - it is constructed out of synthetic leather (body) and a rubber sole for maximum comfort and traction. we find the colour schemes kind of interesting for now. but fila will have to do better to keep us interested in the future. the 'Hexon' is accompanied by two more shoes, namely the intercept, and 'surge', you take the pick . plainly put. all of these shoes aim to offer maximum comfort while running your dog or running from one.

MSI F-Series Laptops

some people look great.like really great.but the sad part is, that's about it. once they open their mouths. it's all pretty much downhill from there. take our hot neighbor. for example. but this is not about her. it's about her. it's about the new F series from MSI. if the specs are anything to go by. it sounds great. no literally, it sounds great, thanks to collaboration with Dynaudio and THX. The series is also the first to use WIDi (wireless display fro Intel) so you can view all your data on your TV, wirelessly, Yup. Definitely more promising than that hot neighbor. Oh dear. gadget-love may be making us asexual.

Olive frvrON

Two cool
Olive frvrON
Rember the time when everything ran on batteries?
not electricity, not solar power, just regular AAA cells not the Duracell types, but the good old Nippos and Evereadys of the worlds. it may not be cool anymore, but it's a charming gadget trait. which is why we find Olive's awkwardly named frvrOn budget caller quite cut. while it does run on a regular rechargeable battery like any other phone, you have the (cooler) option of using AAA batteries. Oh, and it supports two SIM cards.

Hitachi life studio

Excuse us if we're not jumping out of our pants and hi-fiving everyone we see at the mention of another bunch of hard drives. we tend to save our enthusiasm for, well, more deserving candidates. Not that we hate storage device ,its just a bit difficult to love them, you know? but things change. people change. Even stubborn old bricks like us had to admit, Hitachi's new range of life Studio is.. Sexy. You heard us right. And it's not just the looks either; the life studio software is simplified for ease of use and the Plus versions even come with a dockable USB stick you can use to carry the data you want. So thank you Hitachi, thanks for bringing sexy back to the storage world. God knows it was needed.
